1836 came to be in January of 2009 when economic times forced a small town to lose another local business. Z Media was a local fixture for oversize printing and digital copying services. A "Mom & Pop" print shop out to help the little guys with printing services. With graphic designers at the helm, Z Media self-proclaimed to be "Like the other guys, but talented".

Today, 1836 Creative keeps that tradition of small business graphic solutions with a twist of talent. Utilizing our degrees for something (look Mom and Dad!) and producing eye-catching and effective graphics and printing for small business. Going global, 1836 creative helps small business make a name for itself. The printing knowledge has been, and will always be a creative niche for us. Sure you can do a lot of design yourself these days, and you probably have a good handle on it. As designers, however, we study and practice all day long. We design, then print. Print it on different paper. Can we make it "green"? How does it look big? You get the point: we print it, stretch it, twist it, and make decisions on that. Secret weapon: we kept most of the printing equipment from Z Media.

Moving forward, graphic design is our game. We play that game very well. Everyday we utilize our studio for producing both personal and professional work perfecting new ideas or trying out new materials. All of this practice sets 1836 Creative aside, allowing us to creatively solve small business communication problems and execute affordable and marketing solutions both creatively and traditionally.
