We joke and say that business cards are the "gateway" creative job for us and prospective clients. In this case for Sound Orchard Recording studio it was. With the order of business cards came the order for a logo and the vintage/earthy tones throughout their brand image.
This is something we mocked up for the boys to take to concerts or trade show events. Somewhere there's a guy who turns vintage cig packs into pocket amplifiers that you can actually rock-n-roll with. I've seen 'em. Here you can see some different stages of the design.
The poster. Created by stealing washable markers from Dan's kids.
We did this project so the beer-drinkin' hell-raisin' men in Rooster Suicide would get out of our shop and stay out. They are worse than goats when it comes to leaving a room trashed.
We saw this packaging design in a book and thought we'd give it a try. A illustrated poster to be off-set printed on one side, lyrics on the other, that folds into the cd packaging.
All hand lettered and drawn. What can I say we got a working light table and Dan went to town. Posters, handbills and bookmarks. Bookmarks were a 4 color process on the ol' A.B. Dick. Fun stuff!
That's right. That's a sexy bookmark doin' its thing.
This was a wedding present for Dan's old guitar player Alex and his better half Dilara. Jeff Truth design. Two color screen print on 80# laid black cover.
Dan's better half went back to work. But now she had to tell clients where she was. Four color process cards on Chipboard through the A.B. Dick. Business cards and push-cards.
Dan's tattoo artist friend Mark Von Diehl of Classic Tattoo in San Marcos, TX saw Chelle's cards and wanted some of his own. 3 color process on chipboard through the... you guessed it. Our ol' friend Dick.
Gabe illustrated this poster for the super group made of Dusty Grin and Omniii. Then he typed copy in illustrator, word!
Legendary rappers Dusty Grin and Omniii present the latest edition of their musical masterpieces through a double disc digi-pak. It took Gabe a while to finally place two more "i"s in OMNIII. Gotta love, hip-hop!
